True 50/50 tyres. Changed from Bridgestone Dueler - Cross Latitudes are EXPENSIVE (+100€ each!) Tested with lots of Kms in gravel roads and the road surface is really tough, no cuts were noticed yet. Also Freelanders are known for eating front tires for the breakfast and no wear is notice too! Only sidewalls are weak (two punctures in one year, only two layers of protection). Are not muddies but can save your @ss if you need help, the road pattern is interesting on mud! Remoulded ones are cheaper but the noise and fuel bills are impossible to stand, and BF goodrich (more layers of protection in the tyres but expensive to buy and not so good in road) no longer fabricates tyres with this dimensions so, Latitudes are the right choice if you want to travel in small ruts everyday, just like me, and the maximum safety in road (they are real good in road and excellent in wet situations. If you do not went offroad very often you'd better buy some Continental 4x4 contact tyres - 100x times better that my old Bridgestone dueler ones...
